About the Role:

Philips is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their Cloud team, focusing on developing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based products and solutions. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud services, ensuring robust DevOps practices, and managing infrastructure through automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based products and solutions.
• Build and maintain cloud services while ensuring CI/CD best practices are followed.
• Develop automated solutions using industry-standard tools for infrastructure as code.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in line with ISMS/QMS compliance.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure the health of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and operational issues as they arise.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of cloud systems and related procedures.

Key Technical Skills:

C++, C#.NET, AWS, DevOps, Scripting Languages

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in application development using C++ or C#.NET.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies and services.
• Good understanding of DevOps processes and tools.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Working Model:

Philips values in-person collaboration. Office-based teams are expected to work onsite at least 3 days per week. This role is categorized as an onsite position, requiring full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
